Aboriginal Sacred Sites
As you make your way around our vast and pleasant land in your caravan, you’ll come across many Aboriginal Sacred Sites.
These are great to explore, but do remember that some are clearly marked and some are not. It’s really important to make sure you know how to approach them, which means contacting the local Aboriginal Lands Council for that area.
Sacred sites hold deep spiritual significance for the local Aboriginal tribes and when you contact the Lands Council, often local elders and leaders will be more than happy to come and explain their history and what it means to them. It makes your trip around Australia a whole lot more meaningful when you hear real stories from real people that know their area.
